In April of 2011, Stick Engineering emerged out of a Paul's Motorcycle Shop. There was a change of ownership and therefore a change of name, but we still believe in the quality service and still trust the same professional staff to get the job done right.
Stick Engineering, Inc. has been around since 1970 and was originally located in Moline, Illinois. We closed for a brief period of time but we are back to providing our customers with quality service for their motorcycles.
Rick Mathis aka ‘Stick’
Stick started Stick Engineering in 1970, in Moline, Illinois. This family run business operated until 1993 when Stick closed the shop and went to work at a local dealership as a technician, where he ended up becoming a service manager. He then took a position with Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where he became an expert on Harleys. Stick moved back to Arizona and decided it was time to reopen Stick Engineering, Inc.
He has been maintaining Harley-Davidsons for 32 years. He has earned his Master Certification in Service Technology with the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. He also worked as a lead technician at The Desert Proving Grounds for Harley-Davidson.
Dave came aboard with the shop and brings with him 15 years of experience as a Master Technician working at various Harley-Davidson dealerships around the valley.
